04:15 < Neeb> hi i'm havign a world of difficulty with synfig, the basics tutorial went fine until i tried to fill the circle, which it won't let me do. Hope that's not important. Also it won't let me dock windows like the tutorial says it should, there's got to be an easier way than opening 4 dialogs at a time right? I'm assuming this is all because i'm using windows 7. thanks in advance

05:19 < pixelgeek> I think it depends a lot on how familiar with other graphics programs, and animation techniques in general.  
05:20 < pixelgeek> It's definitely designed for prefessional animators, so there's a fairly steep learning curve.  But if you're used to programs like Blender, it's not so bad.  
05:20 < pixelgeek> Unfortunately, it can't help if, like me, you don't have any drawing talent ;(

05:21 < pixelgeek> There are several folks here that can help you out.  
05:22 < pixelgeek> The good news is that whilst some off the behaviours are a little unexpected sometimes, they're fairly well understood.  Most of the serious bugs (crashes) have been worked out now.
