# Godot 4.0 RC 3 Built from commit 7e79aead99a53ee7cdf383add9a6a2aea4f15beb. This is a Release Candidate build for 4.0, which is now fully feature frozen and should include everything that we aim to have in the 4.0 stable release. Some release blocking bugs are still known at this stage, which we will aim to solve in coming days, but you can start using this build as if it was 4.0-stable already. Report bugs on GitHub after checking that they haven't been reported: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues To make a custom build which would also be recognized as rc3, you should define `GODOT_VERSION_STATUS=rc3` in your build environment prior to compiling.
